It is funny to me how different things are once you have kids. Way back when we just had one kid went just about as much as we did before HC was born. Two kids is a game changer. When everything that had to happen happened for Alabama to get into the National Championship game we knew we had to go. Problem...what are we going to do with the kids? Nana and Pappy were going to the game so we had some planning to do. Thankfully we worked it out but that meant taking the kids to school on Monday morning (gameday!) and then hitting the road to New Orleans. We were fine with it since we are not that big on the whole party scene. We arrived to town and met up with Nana and Pappy at the motorhome. We then headed downtown and roamed around some and got some delicious food. After that we split up and went to meet up with JC and Aaron. We actually saw a bunch of people we knew. It was like Tuscaloosa in New Orleans. After that we headed over to the Superdome. We were just ready for some football.
After some ridiculous lines getting in and getting the official pat-down we were finally there!
The Tide came out and was sure ready to Roll!
Most of the LSU fans headed out. Sadly the smarty pants in front of us stayed for the trophy presentation. I really think he was a Bama fan that lost a bet and had to wear LSU gear because he sure yelled Roll Tide a lot. Weird!

We had a blast and were so thankful to have the opportunity to experience our second national championship in three years!
