We spent New Years Eve at home (isn't that what all people with two kids do?). My best friend, her husband and their sweet baby girl came over to hang out with us. We don't get to see Melissa, Tony and Lillian much. In fact, this was the first time Hannah Claire, Wyatt and Lillian have gotten to spend time playing together. Lillian is about two months older than Wyatt but we can tell they are going to be buddies. Hannah Claire was the supervisor of playtime for us. Wyatt started off being such a gentleman, sharing his toys with Lillian.
But her Daddy has already taught her well, keep those boys away. It's okay, we have a girl, we understand.
Wyatt decided he needed his toy back though. Nobody comes in his house and gives him the stiff and keeps his toys. Not even pretty girls.
How cute are they? They were just amazed at one another.

Wyatt also demonstrated his bubble blowing ability for the crowd. We get lots of that from him these days.
Yes, we watched football, ate dinner, spent some quality time with friends we don't see near enough, but all of the good pictures were the kids. Melissa and I have spent lots of New Year's Eves together but I have to say, this was my favorite by far! Happy 2012!
