Today was the big day. We had been looking forward to today so that we could see our little girl and maybe even see what she looks like. Well, Hannah Claire is her mother's child. She is stubborn and likes to sleep (which I hope continues once she arrives). We had a little talk last night about how she would be getting her pictures made today and that she needed to cooperate. Well not only was she sleeping, she had her back to us and she was laying breech. They assured us that her laying that way is not a concern at this point. She is a little over 3lbs. right now and we did get to see and hear her heartbeat (135 bpm). The ultrasound lady tried to give her a little wake-up call. She didn't move. Then, just like her mom, Hannah Claire began to twitch in her sleep. We did get to see it on the screen and I could feel it. We had hoped she would wake up at this point. She didn't. So now we go again on Monday morning to try again. I plan to drink a highly caffeinated drink before going. So even though we didn't get to see her today we know that she acts like me. Poor Shane, he now has two of us to deal with. Please pray for a cooperative child on Monday morning.

Nursery
We want to send a big thank you to Lorie (my aunt) and Melissa (one of our friends) for helping us paint the nursery last weekend. We had a great time and the paint color turned out perfect. We took a piece of the bedding to Lowe's so they could match it exactly. The first gallon that the guy mixed was taupe. No yellow in site. He tried again and got it right this time. While he was doing this Lorie was browsing the paint chips. She picked one chip and it matched perfectly. She has a gift. We should have just let her work her magic to start with. It all worked out though. I'm excited but the room is empty. We are now just waiting on the furniture to arrive, which should happen in the next couple of weeks! Here is a picture of the paint job.
