Happy 1st Birthday Miss. Lillian & Colorful Eggs

The Saturday before Easter we got the opportunity to visit some great friends and celebrate Lillian's first birthday!  We had the morning to play around.  Wyatt tried on his hat.  He was not a fan.
Wyatt was not so sure about the festivities.  He hung out with Dad to scope out the scene.
Lillian had zero concerns.  She tore up that birthday cake!
This picture is crazy to me.  It seems like yesterday Melissa and I were living together in the ZTA house and now we are married with kids.  I must say we do have some cute kids!  I look forward to these kids growing up together.
Melissa and Lillian checking out the tea set we gave her.  HC has the same one and has played with it for years.
Tony entertained Wyatt.  Well, sorta.
Lillian also got a cool covered wagon.  There was not going to be a ride without HC joining in.
Once we got home, Shane left for church to volunteer for the services on Saturday night.  The kids and I got to work dying some eggs.  Since Wyatt is into everything I strapped him into his high chair.  That lasted about 2 seconds until he, for some random reason, threw up all over the place (including all over me).  This is the before picture.  He is about ready to blow.
Nothing slowed Hannah Claire down.  That girl was all business when it came to dying eggs.  I just sat back and watched, after I cleaned up Wyatt, the high chair, the kitchen and myself.
This is Wyatt post cleanup.  I didn't know what was going on so I left him naked.  Thankfully he did not get sick anymore.
HC posing with her beautiful eggs.
Messy fingers.
We sat the baskets out before bed.  Hannah Claire was so excited to wake up and start hunting eggs.

Easter Parties and Good Friday

Good Friday afternoon at daycare was lots of fun for the kiddos.  There parties happening all over the place.  We were fortunate to attend two of them.  We first peeped in to see our little man hanging out with his little friends.
Next we headed down to see what was happening with Hannah Claire's class.  Since it was a yucky rainy day we all headed down to Kosmic to hunt some eggs filled with sugar and chocolate.  Once the doors opened the kids took off.

One sweet girl got overwhelmed by all of the loud craziness.  My proud mommy moment was when HC offered her friend some of her eggs since she had not hunted any.  She is such a tenderhearted little angel.
She was very proud of the eggs she had left.
All the friends posed for some pictures.
Dad and Mom had to get some pictures made with our sweet girl.
These two little ladies love each other.
After the 3K madness we headed over to the infant room to get in some egg hunting there.  Wyatt was excited, he heard that there was food in the eggs.  Nothing excited this boy like food.
Wyatt thought he could eat his way through the egg to get to the puffs.
We then headed back down to HC's room to see how the party was going.  After some snacks HC got a picture with Mrs. Nancy.  We are so thankful for Mrs. Nancy!
Then we all headed back down to see what was going on with the babies.  Wyatt was excited to see us.  So much so that he decided my bracelets looked like a snack.
Wyatt was so excited his sister had come to his party.
We are so thankful for the ELC and that our kids have the opportunity to learn and grow in a place that focuses on teaching them about the love and sacrifice of Jesus.

Good Friday was a very special day for so many reasons but one was that our friends welcomed their brand new baby girl, Anna Collins Karr!  We can't wait to see her in person.  We also had the opportunity to attend worship at Church of the Highlands.  We are so thankful for our church home.  It has truly helped us both grow in our walk with Christ.  Most importantly we are thankful for the sacrifice that was made for our sins on a day so many years ago.  When an innocent man paid the ultimate price but no tomb could contain Him!  Praise the Lord, He is Risen!

March Cell Phone Pictures

Just a swinging.
While Nana was in town we hit up Children's Place.  Wyatt tried on the cutest hat ever!  Sadly it stayed on about 0.2 seconds.
Dad had a meeting so me and the kids hit up Sam's.  It may appear that Wyatt fell asleep but he did not.  He is kissing himself on the mirror attached to his stroller cover.  He was bored waiting on HC to finish her pizza.  This girl LOVES some Sam's pizza!
When we got back from Sam's Hannah Claire worked off all that pizza by dancing to Toddler Tunes on Pandora.
There are no words for this sweet moment!
After lots of raining it finally stopped and we headed into Moe's for some dinner.  She begged to take her umbrella, despite the fact that it was not raining.  We let her.  Funny thing was when we left it was pouring!  Wyatt and I made a run for it but poor Shane got soaked because HC took her time and enjoyed using her umbrella in the rain.
Handsome boy!
This girl is obsessed with Scooby Doo!  We watch it every single night.  For some unknown reason we have this huge Scooby Doo that has been part of our family even before we had kids?  Hannah Claire has now adopted him and he gets to watch himself some nights on tv.
This was his last trip to Publix without getting his own cookie.  Of course she was taunting him with it the entire time.  He doesn't play around when it comes to food.  He got a little bite but once he gets more mobile she is in for a rude awakening.
I think she has modeling in her future.

Wyatt's First Visit with the Easter Bunny

We decided to get to the mall first thing Saturday morning to beat the rush seeing the Easter bunny.  Let me tell you these mall people have it down to fine art.  We arrived and received our pager.  Yep, you heard me right, a pager.  We were placed on the list and told we would be paged soon.  Once we arrived back we would only have 5 minute wait or less.  Their system worked great!  I sat Wyatt down first and he was completely fine.  No tears for this brave boy!  I guess the peer pressure worked on HC because she got right up there and we had zero tears from her too!
Wyatt was so intrigued by the big furry guy that he could not take his eyes off of him.
