November 9th was a big day at our house. It really was no different from any other day besides the fact that Hannah Claire it the 3 and a half mark and Wyatt starting sitting on his own. Other than that it was just a regular day. Wyatt had been very close for a little while but would sit for a few seconds then fall over. We were hanging out in the floor after school & work and "tub-o tub-erson" as Wyatt is affectionately called by his big sister, sat up for a while by himself.
Of course no day is complete without some major drama.
She is quick to get over it and love on her little brother.
We don't do red chair pictures very often anymore with Hannah Claire but we figured a half birthday warranted some. Our big girl is growing so fast. She is so smart that is really scary. She knows all of her ABC's and can write most of them. She is great with her numbers except she skips 15 (which was my number in sports in high school). Hannah Claire has a tender heart and loves and protects her brother. If anyone comes up to talk to Wyatt that she does not know she stands between them and Wyatt. It is very subtle and not rude but very sweet. Wyatt adores her. He watches her every move and laughs and grins at her constantly. We pray that they will always be close. We do have our struggles. HC is extremely opinionated on what she wears and if it is not a dress she is not interested. I have even had to move clothes to the top of her closet so that she will wear the other clothes she has. Wow, we have had some battles over this. She is also not a great eater. Her go to is "I don't like that". Usually this comment comes before she has even tried said food. Overall though, Hannah Claire is a great little girl that we are beyond grateful for. We love her more and more each and every day!
