The second weekend of this football season is a weekend Shane and I had planned on making the trek up to State College, PA for the Bama vs. Penn State game. It will most likely be the last time that Alabama will be playing Joe Pa there. Since we had never made the trip up we planned on it as soon as the game was announced. God will teach you to plan things. Along came Wyatt and the trip changed drastically. Shane decided to make the trip anyways and meet up with our good friend Jon when he got up there. Since I was not sure I was ready for a full weekend with two kids all by myself, we headed to Nana & Pappy's house. We woke up Friday morning to a snoozing baby. I love sleep pictures because babies will get in the most awkward positions. I'm guessing that one leg was cold but it probably made no difference to Wyatt since he was successful at busting out of the swaddle!
We took a ton of pictures at Nana's but half of them are on Nana's camera so I will just have to share what I have. The weather was perfect outside so we sat the tv up out on the deck to watch some football!
I'm not sure if the sun was peaking through or if he didn't care for the way the game was going, but Wyatt had had enough.
I never got a picture of HC and Wyatt together. She was in her cheerleading outfit and he was sporting his jersey. They looked adorable! While HC was sleeping Nana got some quality time in with Wyatt. He was wound up and ready to play.
Granny Sue, Papa John and Aunt Lorie all came out to visit. I think HC wears Aunt Lorie out but they sure do have fun playing together.
After a big win over the Nittany Lions we took a nice fall afternoon boat ride. We had a great time, sadly Shane had a tough trip home. He finally made it after some crazy flight issues. I'm glad he got to go and experience the gameday atmosphere at Penn State.
