Easter Parties and Good Friday

Good Friday afternoon at daycare was lots of fun for the kiddos.  There parties happening all over the place.  We were fortunate to attend two of them.  We first peeped in to see our little man hanging out with his little friends.
Next we headed down to see what was happening with Hannah Claire's class.  Since it was a yucky rainy day we all headed down to Kosmic to hunt some eggs filled with sugar and chocolate.  Once the doors opened the kids took off.

One sweet girl got overwhelmed by all of the loud craziness.  My proud mommy moment was when HC offered her friend some of her eggs since she had not hunted any.  She is such a tenderhearted little angel.
She was very proud of the eggs she had left.
All the friends posed for some pictures.
Dad and Mom had to get some pictures made with our sweet girl.
These two little ladies love each other.
After the 3K madness we headed over to the infant room to get in some egg hunting there.  Wyatt was excited, he heard that there was food in the eggs.  Nothing excited this boy like food.
Wyatt thought he could eat his way through the egg to get to the puffs.
We then headed back down to HC's room to see how the party was going.  After some snacks HC got a picture with Mrs. Nancy.  We are so thankful for Mrs. Nancy!
Then we all headed back down to see what was going on with the babies.  Wyatt was excited to see us.  So much so that he decided my bracelets looked like a snack.
Wyatt was so excited his sister had come to his party.
We are so thankful for the ELC and that our kids have the opportunity to learn and grow in a place that focuses on teaching them about the love and sacrifice of Jesus.

Good Friday was a very special day for so many reasons but one was that our friends welcomed their brand new baby girl, Anna Collins Karr!  We can't wait to see her in person.  We also had the opportunity to attend worship at Church of the Highlands.  We are so thankful for our church home.  It has truly helped us both grow in our walk with Christ.  Most importantly we are thankful for the sacrifice that was made for our sins on a day so many years ago.  When an innocent man paid the ultimate price but no tomb could contain Him!  Praise the Lord, He is Risen!
