One of our most favorite family traditions is going to Zoolight Safari. This was our third year and it is so much fun. We got all bundled up (maybe a little too much, it was warmer than I thought it was going to be) and headed out. We always head straight to the train for our first stop. The line can get long so we knock it out first. Thankfully we went on a Monday night so it was not super crowded. Waiting for the train does allow for some quick photo ops.
We got on the train pretty quickly. We all fit on one row. This will be the last year that will happen. The train is always fun because you get to see so many lights and Santa in the woods. Hannah Claire loved it and so did Wyatt. Although Wyatt enjoyed looking at the roof of the train more than the lights.
After the train we headed over to the carousel. Dad got to ride last year so it Mom's turn this year. Hannah Claire picked out the zebra. Mom had to laid the smack down on a kid, that was old enough to know better. She was trying to jump on the zebra when we clearly had it first. I don't think so! She moved right along and "stripes" was all ours.
One little boy started getting cranky and would not take his bottle because it was too cold. After running it under hot water in the bathroom of the petting zoo to warm it up, he finally settled down. The other three Millers were starting to get cranky because we were hungry too. We headed out and finished up our evening out at Chick-fil-A. That is two years in a row. I think the Chick-fil-a cow in Christmas lights may be some of the best marketing ever.
