Nursery

We want to send a big thank you to Lorie (my aunt) and Melissa (one of our friends) for helping us paint the nursery last weekend. We had a great time and the paint color turned out perfect. We took a piece of the bedding to Lowe's so they could match it exactly. The first gallon that the guy mixed was taupe. No yellow in site. He tried again and got it right this time. While he was doing this Lorie was browsing the paint chips. She picked one chip and it matched perfectly. She has a gift. We should have just let her work her magic to start with. It all worked out though. I'm excited but the room is empty. We are now just waiting on the furniture to arrive, which should happen in the next couple of weeks! Here is a picture of the paint job.

We also painted the kitchen since we had help. What would we do without Lorie? She always comes to help with projects around the house. She helped with planting flowers at our last house. She got the greenthumb in our family. Thanks Lorie & Melissa for all of your help! We love you both.
