You would think that having a child would make us realize how quickly the time goes but it just doesn't. How is it even possible that our sweet boy is already one? The year has been amazing! He is such a sweet and happy baby! He can always bring a smile to our face. We were so excited to celebrate Wyatt's first year of life! We decided to keep it very simple by only having the grandparents and sweet Lillian over. I think the birthday boy loved it! We kicked off the morning with some fun in the new truck Nana brought Wyatt.
There is a floorboard that goes in so that Wyatt would not fall out. When that is in, someone has to push him. Big sis was all for it until she realized that she could ride and Wyatt could push her. They had a blast! Even when the truck backed up over his foot.
They even found the truck flap opened up so that Wyatt could ride around the back while Hannah Claire drove.
Wyatt took a break to visit with his buddy, Pawpaw.
Who said anything about drinking and driving? Cheers!
We let Wyatt opened up some gifts. Yes, a truck!!!
One of his favorite things from the day was his Mickey Mouse card from Nana.
Wheels were a popular gift this year. Wyatt is definitely a fan!
All that cruising makes for a thirsty boy.
The invitation and cake. Publix matched the cake up perfectly. Plus it was yummy!
Wyatt had a little lunch before he dove into the cake. Knowing how this boy likes to eat, we knew the smash cake was in trouble.
Lillian saw her opportunity to take a ride in the new truck.
It's time...
All smiles from the kitchen.
Little did Lillian know, Wyatt had to get out of the highchair to get ready for the smash cake. Being his normal charming self, he went by to visit with her.
I just wish I knew what they were saying to one another.
Let the fun begin...
Loving it!
There was blue everywhere! I mean everywhere!!!
The cake was fun but getting cleaned up afterwards was not.
Cleaned up and ready to party! Time to have fun with my little friend.
"Hey, whatcha got there Lillian?"
Here comes HC to make sure all is okay.
Nana tried to get some pictures with her grands but that is way easier said than done.
