Race for the Cure

Last Saturday the Millers participated in the Race for the Cure. It really is such an amazing event. To see all those women walking in the survivors parade is so inspirational. There was also an entire family beside us. The mom/grand-mom/great-grandmom had lost the battle. They had t-shirts made up with each person's name and relationship on the back. It truly melts my heart. The weather was not the best. It was rainy but that didn't stop the masses. The paper reported over 14,000 people were in attendance. Awesome!

One of my best friends' mom was recently diagnosed with breast cancer. Thankfully she has kicked it!!! Praise God! We ran (I walked some, okay lots) in honor of Sheila. We are so proud of her and felt it was the least we could do. We love you Sheila!

Hannah Claire had the best spot. She got a little cheerios to propel her to the finish line.
HC is not big on any type of cover being on her. Since it was raining we needed to cover her up but she wasn't having it. We had to tie the rain jacket around the stroller. She finally gave up during the race. She and Daddy did a fantastic job! Please notice the cheerios underneath her chin.
The Millers post race (and post banana, which was the best banana I have ever had!!!).
One of our friends ran as well. Shane and Dan posing for a picture.
