I just love to take pictures of Hannah Claire when she is in the middle of playing. I want to be able to look back and remember the little things that she does that are so funny to us but we are likely to forget over time. These are some of those pictures.
I look over and see HC has crawled under the table and set up shop with her toys and all. This was a first and she hasn't done it since. Probably because she can't sit up straight so it wasn't the most comfortable and she bumped her head trying to get out.
I am really afraid that Hannah Claire is going to be a girly girl. I'm not sure what to do with a girly girl. I mean we can wear cute dressed but we also need to be able to play in the mud. She loves to sit with me while I am putting on my makeup, she loves to brush her hair, she is already into dress up (as you will see in a second) and she loves to play with her rings (or whatever she can find to us) as her bracelets.
This kid will sleep in some of the most unusual positions. It is a good thing she sleeps in her crib because if she didn't I'm sure neither Shane or I would get any sleep. She tosses and turns constantly. We checked on her one night before bed and this is what we saw. It was too sweet not to take a picture. I don't think she could have gotten any closer to the bumper.
Hannah Claire has taken a liken to one of my shirts. She can pull it off the hanger in my closet and proceeds to every time the closet door opens. She started crying one Sunday because I took it away from her to get ready for church so I promised her that she could wear it when we got home. I always try to keep my random promises I make when in the middle of a meltdown. HC got to play dress-up when we got home and she loved it!
Okay this picture has a hilarious story. Shane and I were sitting in the living room floor playing with Hannah Claire when she disappeared into her room. She went into her room and closed the door. I yell to her, "Hannah Claire you better not be in that garbage can". Slowly the door opened, she peeked around the door and then opened it enough for us to see the dirty diaper in her hand. We couldn't help but to loose it. Remember how your mom would tell you to stop doing something and she was not anywhere near but she knew exactly what you were doing. I always wondered how she knew and now I know. You just know based on what the kid usually does. While we were laughing hysterically we tried to capture something in pictures. By the time we did she had already put the dirty diaper down and picked up one of her swim diapers.
Shane and I had chicken slenders one night for dinner and Hannah Claire decided that she needed one. We let her try it. She can't really bit into it but she was able to get some of the crispy outside off.
